Sustainability is a fundamental principle of our business operations. For us, sustainable production means working with our partners throughout the supply chain to pursue and continuously review environmental and labour ethics objectives. Transparency in our value chain and sustainability are essential for a trusting partnership with our suppliers and customers. 

ASATEX AG is therefore a member of the SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) organisation. This collaborative platform for buyers, suppliers and auditors enables its members to exchange information and data on social and ethical sustainability. SEDEX is used by more than 60,000 companies in over 180 countries, all of which are committed to the continuous optimisation of sustainable trade throughout their entire supply chain. We view our membership as an expression of our commitment to transparency and our clear willingness to provide information, thereby managing and optimising ethical standards within the supply chain. 

It is not only we who are committed to ethical and sustainable practices in the areas of labour rights, health and safety, the environment and business ethics. We expect the same from our suppliers and service providers. They are also members of Sedex or a comparable organisation promoting ethical business practices and are committed to decent and environmentally sound working conditions. This naturally includes the prohibition of child labour and forced labour, respect for workers’ rights, and the responsible use of nature and resources.
